Your Options

1. Training for Fat Loss:

For our clients who's primary goal is fat loss, we recommend a routine combining weight-training (in many different styles) with interval-style cardiovascular training.
When coupled with healthy nutrition and the proper amount of rest and recovery, our clients have found these types of routines to be highly effective for achieving fat loss. These routines are designed for all those clients (of any shape and size) wishing to lose fat, and keep it off for good.
Our fat-burning routines incorporate elements such as free-weights, body-weight exercises, interval-training, boxing and medicine ball work. They are safe and also challenging and that's why they work.

2. Training for Strength and Muscle Growth:

Some clients come to us with the specific goal of increasing their muscle mass and physical strength.
Depending on the your time commitments and the kind of routine that fits in with your lifestyle, we recommend no more than 3 weights workouts a week. Some clients manage to fit in 4, though they are few and far between. We design our training routines to maximise training results without
spending every spare moment in the gym.
Our clients gain strength and size from as little as 2 hours of training a week with us. If you want to be more strength and muscle, the key is too train smarter and harder, without training for longer.

3. Strength & Conditioning for Sports:

Aimed at anyone who wants to improve their game and progress in their chosen sport, regardless of whether they are an amateur, semi-professional or professional sportsperson. Following our advice will help you stay injury-free during the season, make the first team and stay there or simply perform better in your chosen sport. To date we've created successful programs for participants in a range of sports including Football, Rugby, American Football, Tennis, Hockey, Fencing, Wind-Surfing and Distance-Running.

4. Posture & Biomechanical Assessment & Corrective Exercise:

Whether you're an office worker, housewife, builder or Olympic athlete, everyone can benefit from better posture.

  • Individuals with poor posture:
  • Experience greater stress on their joints and the surrounding muscles.
  • Are more susceptible to injury.
  • May suffer from any number of ailments including low back pain, chronic neck tension/pain, headaches, rotator cuff (shoulder) problems, pain in the mid to upper spine, and knee or hamstring strain.
  • Conversely, a person with good posture:
  • Has better alignment, which translates into less injury.
  • Has better balance, agility and overall physical performance.
  • Recovers quicker from exercise or physical exertion, and feels more energetic.

Following a thorough Postural Assessment, a Corrective Exercise program is designed to stretch any muscle groups that are tight, and strengthen any muscle groups that are weak, thereby beginning the process of re-aligning the body into optimal posture. One-to-one coaching sessions then ensure that the client understands the programme and is able to perform the prescribed exercises using correct technique and effort.

5. Holistic Lifestyle Coaching:

This service is aimed at anyone wishing to lose bodyfat, prevent abdominal bloating, conquer food allergies/cravings, sleep better and enjoy increased energy, less stress and a happier life.
By completing a series of questionnaires, clients provide information regarding their nutrition and lifestyle habits. From this information we can ascertain where your diet and lifestyle need improving and correcting to allow you to reach a higher state of health, well-being and appearance. Whatever junk food you enjoy eating, rest assured that nothing tastes as good as looking and feeling great.

6. Neuro-Muscular Therapy (NMT):

NMT is a kind of deep tissue massage that focuses on releasing tender points (a point hurts to the touch and causes some degree of pain in that area), and trigger points (may not necessarily be painful to the touch but causes a degree of pain to be felt in another area). These develop in muscles as a result of training, trauma/injury, stress and poor posture.
Using specific massage techniques combined with movement, stretching and strengthening, NMT helps restore posture, balances the musculoskeletal and nervous systems and enhances the function of joints, muscles and biomechanics (movement).
It is effective in treating conditions including low back, neck pain, shoulder pain, hip and knee problems, Temporo-Mandibular Joint disorders, headaches and scoliosis. You can learn more about the techniques used in NMT at www.neri-education.com

7. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT):

EFT involves finding the root cause of our self-limiting beliefs, behaviours and attitudes, and releasing the thoughts and emotions that have produced them. Your emotions and thoughts in relation to yourself and your training are of paramount importance. If, deep down, you don't believe you can succeed, or don't deserve to succeed, you never will. EFT can help you identify and resolve fears (e.g. public speaking), anxieties, procrastination, trauma, relationship issues and negative beliefs/emotions.

It can also help you manage stress, deal with phobias, weight-problems, remove limitations, address self-image and self-confidence issues, physical and emotional pain and any blocks to success.
It can substantially improve the quality of your life by allowing you to have better control of your state of mind, be more effective in your daily living and help you make your dreams become reality.
The techniques EFT use the acupuncture points on the body, and a simple tapping sequence that is easy to memorise.
